This hand-turned herb bowl and matching mezzaluna chopper are a beautiful and efficient set for preparing fresh herbs. Carved out of a 10" square of maple, the shallow contour of the bowl is matched to the radius of the chopper to allow easy dicing and chopping with a simple roll of the wrist. Our design is unique with a plate garage sculpted into the sides so your herbs transfer from bowl to dish without spills. Non-skid pads keep the bowl firmly in place.

I use a lot of fresh herbs in my cooking, but I have always hated cutting them up. With this wonderful chopper set I actually look forward to chopping herbs. It is so easy! It certainly validates the theory that one should have the right tool for the job.

This version of a mezzaluna and chopping bowl are not quite as good as the one a friend has. A double-bladed mezzaluna works a lot faster. However, I like the footed board as it stays in place well on the countertop. I do wish it had a deeper bowl. It works very well for mincing herbs and I have also used it for mincing citrus zest.

I love this product. It's very quick and easy to chop leafy herbs. The board is easy to clean by simply rinsing with water immediately after using.

I bought this for my husband (the chef in our home) last year and he still raves about it. We use a lot of fresh herbs in our cooking, and this tool has made it much easier to mince them *safely*. It cleans up easily and looks great too!

I love this little board - especially the fact that it's bowl-shaped which keeps whatever I am chopping from flying all over the kitchen. It's a beautiful addition to any gourmet's kitchen and a wonderful what-to give-for Christmas gift.

I saw this exact Mezzaluna chopper in an article about herbs in a recent issue of Cooking Light. It seemed to be the perfect alternative to chopping herbs on a flat surface. With the Mezzaluna you don't have to keep gathering the chopped herbs back to the center of the board, they fall back to the center naturally. Your fingers aren't in danger of being chopped off in the process either, because you don't have to hold the herbs while you chop. Just rock the *very sharp* curved blade over the herbs. Achieving "minced" has never been easier, or faster. This chopper is of *excellent* quality, and worth the price!
